Funny you should mention that, sionnach. I was out riding my bike yesterday and happened to pass a garden full of garlic chives--which reminded me of a documentary I'd seen when I was a kid. The documentary was called "Garlic Is As Good As Ten Mothers." The director is also known for such films as "In Heaven There Is No Beer?" and "Gap-Toothed Women," which features the famous gapped-tooth model Lauren Hutton.
Proust had madeleines. I have iroquoisy garlic chives.

But what are these garlic chives of which you speak, iroquoisy or otherwise? Are they the bastard demonspawn of some hot garlic-on-chive rumpy-pumpy down in the vegetable patch? Would it be possible to get some potatoes in on all this hot vegetal commingling? Because think how awesome the resulting crisps (or as you Americans like to call them, chips) would be.
Tasty and vampire-repellent. Yum.
